The purchase decision of the customer for construction machines is strongly influenced by the services in the After Sales / Service which have to be optimized: pricing, service quality on site, spare parts supply, life cycle costs and other factors. The focal points of my work is the optimization of these purchase influences: dealer / network development, optimization of spare parts supply, development of new business fields, fleet management incl. Life cycle cost analysis, distribution, after sales / service and pricing. The focus of my interest lies in sales (here especially the development of new business areas) and after sales / service – whereby, in my view, only an interaction between the two areas brings a competitive edge in today’s time
